Using Rootless Jailbreak (v2)

In order to use “Ruthless” Jailbreak more easily, you will have to have all of these files copied to a folder onto your Desktop along with CYDIA IMPACTOR. You can DOWNLOAD all of the IPA files from HERE:

Using Cydia Impactor:

install the Rootless Jailbreak IPA onto your device

Install FILZAESCAPED12.x

Install RootlessInstaller

Once you get ALL THREE installed, you are ready to begin. The first thing you should do, is choose a number of DEB files you wish to install*, and using FilzaEscaped12, copy them to a folder like /var/mobile/Downloads. Make sure you put them all in there. REMEMBER THIS: FilzaEscaped is VERY unstable, and this is the only version I could find that would work for me. IT MAY NOT WORK for you, in that case, you need to search for another version. But it MUST be “FilzaEscaped12”- No other version will work, I am positive about that. But there are several versions of FilzaEscaped12, so just google it if this version does NOT work for some reason. Also, although FilzaEscaped WILL work on a non JB device, you MAY have to Jailbreak with the Rootless JB tool in case you get constant reboots. When you first run the tool, it will FREEZE – But just WAIT, eventually it will show you your FS (filesystem). Then, you can copy files from your PC or other devices into your Mobile/Downloads folder. In fact, you may ACTIVATE FilzaEscaped just like regular Filza, it will accept your License. It may run better after that. But do not be alarmed if Filza crashes or causes a reboot, just re-JB and try again. Also, and this is VERY important: Do NOT DEPEND on any IPA files you can get from SIGNING sites. They WILL stop working. All of the files I have provided can be self-signed with Cydia Impactor.

WHEN YOU JAILBREAK:

You will see a number of Switches: IGNORE all of these, save for the switch on the VERY bottom that says “Tweaks” – Flip that switch ON, Then, hit “Jailbreak” and the device should respring. If it re-BOOTS, just try it again once it comes back up. Eventually, Filza will run and you can copy your DEBs in. ALTERNATIVELY, you can use Skyjos FileExplorer Premium (get the free version from the App Store and then choose the in-app purchase, it’s a dollar less) - you can use that app to copy files from any home computer directly into your iPhone and then using FilzaEscaped, you can copy the DEB files from the app in the mobile/containers/data/application folder...

SYNTAX for using RootlessInstaller:

You need the exact PATH to your file, using “file:///(path]/[exact name of DEB file]

Example:

file:///var/mobile/Downloads/com.iky1e.swipeselection-pro_1.0.3-1_iphoneos-arm.deb

ENTER THIS into the very TOP field of the RootlessInstaller app. Then press EXPLOIT- however, if the file IS NOT at that location, it will not work. Use the “Renaming” feature of Filza to copy the full file name, then add “deb” to the end of that.

Once you see an “OK” notification, you can THEN press “INSTALL”- If successful, you will receive a notification that says “success”. The Process is the same if you wish to UNINSTALL a tweak: But you press “Uninstall” instead of “Install”. REMEMBER to press the RESPRING button for either INSTALLING or UNINSTALLING.

FINALLY, not all tweaks will show up in Preferences. And, if a tweak has several dependencies, you MUST install all of those as well- The full list of dependencies are always located in the CONTROL file. You may use “ZipApp Lite” to load the DEB file and extract it to see the CONTROL file- Because you cannot use FilzaEscaped12 to extract any DEB file like you can do on a Jailbroken Device.
